Abstract

GRDPis one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or district/municipality). To date, GRDP calculations have been conducted using two approaches: the production (industry) approach and the expenditure approach, both for annual and quarterly periods.The publication “Gross Regional Domestic Product of Central Buton Regency by Expenditure, 2020–2024” specifically discusses GRDP based on the expenditure/final demand approach. This approach is broken down into six components: Household Consumption Expenditure, Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventories), and Net Exports (Exports minus Imports). The GRDP data in this publication uses 2010 as the base year and has applied the System of National Accounts 2008 concept as recommended by the United Nations. To all parties who have contributed to the realization of this publication, as well as to government institutions and private organizations/companies that have provided data support for its preparation, we express our highest appreciation.
